Will robots do all the unpleasant work for us in thirty years? Or will they subdue us to become submissive slaves? Discussions about how artificial intelligence (AI) will change our lives are moving between these two extremes. There is no doubt that the change will be dramatic. Maybe now is the right time to start interfering. A pioneering comic essay on AI invites you on an illustrated journey through the dimensions and implications of innovative technology. This work, which addresses the important opportunities and risks associated with IM, is a creative stimulus for those familiar with the subject, as well as an invitation for newcomers to inform themselves and join the discussion.
Economist Julia Schneider values data and code as a tool for solving complex puzzles and adores comics as a medium for telling complex stories. Artist Lena Kadriye Ziyal, who comes from the opposite side, likes to encode complexity with associations and thus the meaning of a certain
