The 3D modeling workshop in the Blender program is intended for individuals who are interested in making 3D models for animation and 3D printing. The workshop provides the basic knowledge of the program and optimized processes. The final result of the workshop is the preparation of a file for 3D print and a printed object.
On the workshop you need to bring:
- Three-button mouse (middle or scroll-button or wheel down)
- More powerful computer (at least 4-core CPU 2.2 Ghz, 8 GB RAM, GPU, min. 1 GB VRAM, min. 1024 x 768 pixel screen, 20 MB free storage space.) You need more, much more for projects …
- If possible, we recommend to use two screens.
Blender 2.9 program or the latest available version will be installed at the beginning of the workshop.
About mentors:
Bor Jarh
Industrial designer by education, for the past 10 years he has been passionately creating computer-generated graphics, 3D models, and prototypes. He is interested in all types of visual communications in recent years, especially VR, AR, and MR simulations.
Leon Dolničar
Attending the last class at the Jože Plečnik Gymnasium in Ljubljana. But more than learning, he enjoys 3D modeling, which he first encountered seven years ago when he started attending 3D modeling workshops in Blender program at the Kersnikova Institute. For the last two years, he has been leading 3D modeling workshops at RampaLab.
