The workshop is based on finding analogies between technological development and art content. It is about understanding reality in the relationship between a function and its substantive meaning. At the workshop, we will make real and functional printed circuit boards such as we have for motherboards of all electronic devices, with the difference that these motherboards will become creative creations with artistic content, while maintaining their basic function of energy conductivity.
Participants will learn how drawing or artwork can come to life as an energy circuit at the same time. The workshop allows us to combine otherwise opposite poles of value such as functionality and artistic message, with the aim of finding creative potentials within interdisciplinary artistic practices.
