The Sound Microscope workshop under the mentor-ship of musician Andrej Fon and media artist, musician and designer of electronic instruments Staš Vrenko.
The workshop is suitable for children 7+ years of age, with the purpose of hear sounds inaudible to humans and assemble sound-receptive device for listening of everyday sounds and barely perceptible, silent sounds – a sound microscope. The mentors will present the possibility of making mechanical and digital tools that can be used for listening of otherwise inaudible sounds. In the workshop children will assemble a sound-receptive device that can amplify the inaudible sounds.
