How could you look at the sound? What shapes would you discover if you turned sound into an image?
If you would like to know how we can see sound, join us for a workshop on making a “synesthetic” cable. This will enable us to have a synesthetic experience or to communicate sounds and images. We will connect any audio producers (computer, phone, mp3 player…) and the screen with the produced cable. The cable works by replacing signals that normally carry the color and brightness information of pixels with audio signals.
By observing the created images and listening to the sound at the same time, we will be able to observe the properties of the sound, which would be difficult to notice just by listening. We will also learn about the operation of diodes, the basics of soldering, how VGA and audio cable work and more!
The number of participants is limited, so prior registration is required at the link.
The workshop will be held in accordance with the medical conditions in force at the time. If the event cannot be performed live, the workshop is canceled.
