The exhibition 𝙠𝙤𝙣𝙎𝙚𝙠𝙫𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙚 ≡ 𝙁𝙧𝙖𝙜𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙨 𝙤𝙛 𝙖 𝙋𝙤𝙨𝙨𝙞𝙗𝙡𝙚 𝙀𝙘𝙤𝙨𝙮𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙢 showcases the artistic and research works of the konS project, which deals with content at the intersection of science, technology and society. In addition to the main exhibition at the Cukrarna Gallery, a varied programme of events will take place throughout the month at partner locations in 𝗟𝗷𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗷𝗮𝗻𝗮, 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗯𝗼𝗿, 𝗩𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗷𝗲, 𝗡𝗼𝘃𝗼 𝗺𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗼, and 𝗡𝗼𝘃𝗮 𝗚𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗮.
How does a spider robot take care of plants in a vertical green garden? Can we control the robot by processing input signals from neural tissue? What is the carbon footprint of cookies? Are machines capable of being more humane than humans? What are the social reverberations of artificial intelligence? And what are the potential ecosystems that the future might hold?
In just over three years of creative vigour, we have laid the foundations of a potential ecosystem in the field of contemporary investigative art. In the exhibition konSekvence at the Cukrarna Gallery in Ljubljana, we present three creative fields that intertwine and draw attention to their conceptual, technological and formal interconnectedness.
