Tracking, Network and Data: Electronic Civil Disobedience Workshop with !Mediengruppe Bitnik, join the exploration of hidden, unmapped networks in the world around us. Using five mini GPS trackers as practical tools, we will explore service, traffic and waste management networks, and the position data generated by the trackers will allow visible movements across the map.
The two-day workshop, starting with introduction and planning on the first day and practical work on the second day will take place via the Zoom application. All participants will be able to follow the movement of devices on the map online for a continuous period of 5 to 10 days. Participants will work in groups of 3. You can apply individually or as a group. Due to logistics, we will select at least 5 participants who live in Ljubljana from among the candidates, otherwise we will accept participants from all over Slovenia. No special skills are required, but a good internet connection is required.
