In May and June, Cultural incubator Maribor hosts a team of real technology nerds, who developed their workshops with intention of bringing the inter-media closer to children in the simplest and funniest way possible! In the set of three workshops, participants will get a closer view of technology trough activities such as assembling, painting and programing.
Remote-controlled lights and sounds? In the Micro: bit workshop, we will focus on programming of software interface devices that can control light and sounds!
“Micro: bit – creative networks” inter-media workshop will enable participants to get more detailed understanding of modern technology, which has become accessible to everyone through rapid development. Most of us are unaware of the potential of technology that surround us, allowing us to connect to other similar data devices from closer or remote surroundings at any time.
Applications
The workshop is intended for children 9 – 14 years and is free of charge. No prior knowledge or additional tools are required to participate. Prior registration is required due to limited number of participants at the following link: https://www.1ka.si/a/332766
