Are you interested in visual expression and would like to try it in a new way? Do you want to draw with program code? Would you like to try livecoding? Join us for a two-day workshop with mentor Blaž Pavlica, where we will work through the creation of varied visual drawings or. animations, learn computer graphics and learn the basic concepts of programming and programming languages. We will learn what variables, conditional statements, strings, and functions are, and how to use them to draw, format, animate, and color shapes on the screen.
The aim of the workshop is, among other things, to show that anyone can start learning programming, so the workshop is also suitable for participants without programming experience. Blaž Pavlica is a programmer, audio-visual artist, sound engineer and DJ who currently lives and works in Utrecht.
