MKC Maribor, in collaboration with konS platform, International Festival of Computer Arts (IFCA), Kreativni inštitut Maribor and Sonda Foundation (Ustanova fundacija sonda), invites you to a video dialogue of indoor and outdoor space every second Monday of the month, which can be seen in the Cultural Incubator (Kulturni inkubator Maribor) on Koroška ulica 18.
As part of series #drugiVJMonday, the intermedia artist Monika Pocrnjić will present her installation “Draw with your face”.
About installation
“Draw with your face”, an interactive installation intended for creating a light composition in a shop window, invites you on a playfully exploration and experiment with digital drawing. The installation consists of a webcam, a computer and a projector. It captures images in real time, detects faces with help of program Processing and turns them into “brushes” for generating art elements and drawing patterns for projection in the shop window.
About the author
Monika Pocrnjić earned her degree in art pedagogue / intermedia art. She is dedicated to drawing, making electronic circuits and creating interactive installations. She is also a member of the Spajkalčki community, developing interesting workshops for intermedia adventurers in the Incubator.
