The workshop in a form of four online meetings, where participants will gain video mapping knowledge through lectures and practical exercises. Under the mentor-ship of BEAM TEAM, they will learn the technique of video mapping with the help of MadMapper software, technical aspect of implementation and preparation of content for projection on a “site specific” location.

Starting with the introduction with a presentation of practical examples and conceptual designs of projection content, then learn about the necessary technical support and software for performing mapped video projections, and gain knowledge of software. We will prepare content for video mapped projections, which will be presented in the form of mapping the facade at the selected location.

A laptop with an HDMI output and good internet connection is needed to attend the workshops. The projectors are provided by the organizer.

BEAM TEAM (Stella Ivšek, Anja Romih) are intermedia artists deaingl with sound visualization, video animation and scenography. As VJs with their aliases 5237 and SMECH they have participated at various music and art festivals and events for many years. They are collaborating with the Ljudmila Association as curators of the PifLab: V2V (video to video) series of events, which are intended for creators in the field of video art, video installations and visualizations. The platform strives for an open flow of artistic and technological practices, the establishment of space for reflection and presentation of creative work, and the flow of knowledge. In 2020, together with Aleš Zupance, they mentored the workshop of the Light Guerrilla Laboratory, which resulted in an audio-visual interactive installation presented at the Light Guerrilla, Pixxelpoint and InSonic ZKM Karlsruhe festivals.
