Two-day live coding festival Algopolis

The LJUDMILA Society, a laboratory for science and art, is preparing an Algopolis two-day live coding festival

On Thursday and Friday, 5 and 6 May 2022, in the eighth and Cukrarna.bar

On the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the Algorave movement, Ljudmila proudly represents the culmination of many years of efforts to popularize live coding: Algopolis will bring together an international community of the most active and penetrating coders, hackers and researchers in the background of their creative process.

The two-day festival will open on Thursday with an exhibition by Anne Carreras at 8 a.m., culminating on Friday night at Cukrarna.bar. You are invited to the first real Ljubljana Algorave, where 11 dancers will program your dance steps, and researchers at heart will join us in the workshops of Hydra platform creator Olivia Jack and code and sound alchemist Tim Hoogland.

Celebrate with us in a spirit of collaboration and open source. Admission is free!
